Find the reset button on your router. Press and hold that button for a few seconds. It will take up to few minutes to boot your router and the small LED lights should now hopefully be stable which may have been flickering earlier. The router is now reset, log in through default credentials to change Spectrum router password. Click on the Wi-Fi network and go to password. Enter the new password twice to confirm it and log in through the same.

Press the power button of your router to turn it off.
Disconnect the power adapter of the router from the electric socket. If there’s any additional hardware connected to the power socket, unplug them too.
Wait for about two minutes and let the router cool down.
Connect all the power adapters back to their respective slots and turn the router on.
Locate the router’s reset button and grab a pointed object such as paperclip to reset the device.
Press and hold the reset button for about 10 seconds and release it.
You will notice that the status lights of the router start flickering and the router will restart.
Once the steps mentioned above are completed, the manual reset of your Spectrum Router will be done. You can now use the default login credentials of the device to log into the router admin console and re-configure it.
